The state administration of Chon-Alay district of the Osh region and Kashkasuu local authority organize Annual International Festival at the foot of the Lenin peak in Achik-Tash gorge. There is active entertainment: folklore show complete with national music, songs and dancing of local artists, horseback riding games, arts and crafts fair, gala dinner with dishes▶︎
Skaska valley is, as the corresponding Russian term (скаска) meaning "fairy tale" suggests, surrounded by wonderfully formulated castles reinforced with labyrinth of walls extending beyond the scenery with Lake Issyk-kol in the background, being an ideal place for wandering.
Our programs for the heart of Central Tianshan include transportation by the pre-scheduled helicopter flight between seasonal Maida-adyr base and our regularly established mountaineering camps on the Engilchek glacier, and allow the use of facilities with daily supplies. Our standard programs for Lenin peak include transportation by a suitable vehicle between Osh and the seasonal basecamp (BC) in the Achyk-tash valley, and allow the stay at sites: BC [3600m] and the advanced basecamp (ABC) located above [4400m], with or without daily supplies.
